I’m a big fan of BCBG’s younger, lower-priced line BCBGeneration. I think they do fun, fashion-forward pieces that are well priced for the quality. I browse their website frequently because they run a lot of sales and promos, and of course I love me a sale. They also happen to have a solid BCBGen department at my local goldmine of a Macy’s (it’s a larger, cleaner, higher-end store as far as Macy’s goes). So Macy’s is in fact where I spotted this sporty little tweed set (obviously on sale). I’m a sucker for black and white anything, and I also happen to like matching sets. I know there’s a lot of controversy regarding the latter – some fashion people like the idea and others hate it. Though I wouldn’t go matchy-matchy everyday, I do think it’s a cute look, and it definitely suits petites. Since we’ve been getting cooler weather, I was actually able to wear this the other day for a dinner date with my hubby. I styled this look with a newer BaubleBar necklace, a Rebecca Minkoff crossbody bag, and a fabulous pair of Steve Madden booties.
