This trip was full of so much synchronicity ✨

And I have to laugh because I was dreading coming. I was v anxious about recording audio. When the invitation to do an audio book first presented, it felt like an immediate yes. But after committing, my mind started to spiral. So many fears about putting my voice to my work, not being good enough, opening myself to judgment and critique 🫠 But I powered through and did it anyway. And sure enough, as soon as I arrived in Co Springs everything started to line up better than I could’ve imagined… including bumping into a whole group of Human Design colleagues who happened to be here at the same time for a completely different reason 🤯

Today was my last day of recording, and I took the morning off to visit a hot springs spa 💦 in the neighboring town of Manitou Springs (near Pike’s Peak). The town was so freakin cute and the spa soak was well deserved. The sweetest girl snapped a pic of me in the cold plunge 🤣 and even drove me to her favorite cafe in town after we were done soaking 🍵

I spent the afternoon in studio and I have to say - my audio team was AWESOME. 10/10 would work with them again. They were so down to earth but equally knowledgeable and made me feel so comfortable. We cranked it out and got the whole book recorded in three days ⚡️ My first run through was literally the recording itself and my G-Center just did its thing 🙈 Although I can confidently state this book is NOT perfect, my Manifestor grandmother has oft reminded me, “perfection is the enemy of the good.” I just needed to get it done 💥 And I can see why my 3rd line body needed to have this experience, despite my 1st line mind screaming that I wasn’t ready.

Dreams coming true equals hard work, exhaustion (at times), and uncomfortable growth edges. It’s not all rosy when you live it. It’s more a matter of do you believe in what you’re working towards. Because life isn’t exactly a joyride no matter your path. So - is the poison you pick the one that gets you where you wanna be?

I can’t even tell you how much (mental) resistance I felt to taking this trip. BUT I feel equally blessed by my friends, family, and guides who show up and support me along the way. You know who you are and ily all sm 🫶

I’m so f*cking tired of the patriarchy’s judgement of female s*exuality and the misinterpretation/distortion of s*x as something shameful when the reality is - the only thing that makes it shameful is operating unconsciously and keeping it shadowy (and everything that goes along with that)‼️

As many of you who have known me for a while know, I have strong feelings about this. Before Human Design dropped into my lap, I spent years studying/practicing tantra and other er0tic/shamanic modalities. But when I got really deep into Design and really good at it, I started to worry my s*x work might detract from my expertise. I’m really super done caring about that 🙄 My book on the “science” of Human Design is about to drop AND I still feel reallyyyyy strongly about this work and this other side of myself (other side of all of us really). Ironically, my Uranus opposition (fast approaching) is anchored by the LAX of Spirit with 59.6 (Gate of S*xuality) in the personality sun placement (checks tf out) ☑️ I’ve been in a big chrysalis of dissolving and recalibrating - which was largely catalyzed by my recent breakup - which while it was a pain in the ass definitely served its purpose 🤷‍♀️ A lot is gonna be shifting in the next few months as I prepare for the OFFICIAL release of my book on 11/11 🌟 and I’ll have more to share soon…

Thank you as always @poetikla for cultivating a safe and welcoming space for all us weirdos to share our words. This has been one of my favorite open mics to attend over the years here in LA.

This is only the 2nd half of the poem because it’s a longer one… but I still wanted to share a peek. I wrote this poem about my (now) ex, not knowing we would break up a week later. I really thought we were in it for the long haul 💔 But the whole point of the poem is you can never really know. I preformed it for the first time still grieving the breakup.
