Thank you as always @poetikla for cultivating a safe and welcoming space for all us weirdos to share our words. This has been one of my favorite open mics to attend over the years here in LA.

This is only the 2nd half of the poem because it’s a longer one… but I still wanted to share a peek. I wrote this poem about my (now) ex, not knowing we would break up a week later. I really thought we were in it for the long haul 💔 But the whole point of the poem is you can never really know. I preformed it for the first time still grieving the breakup.

Honored that I was invited back to speak at HDHD again this year 🫶

Last year I did a deeeeep dive of the Changing of the Keys in preparation for 2027 🐦‍🔥 And this year I’ll be taking you on a journey through the mechanics of human consciousness 🌀 This year’s talk will draw upon the teachings from my upcoming book 🌟 The Language of the Stars 🌟 which is a pop science take on consciousness as told through the lens of Human Design (and the Gene Keys). Hopefully the book will be out in time 🤞 and I can sign your copy if you come catch my talk!!!

Popped into Barnes & Noble with my daughter yester

Popped into Barnes & Noble with my daughter yesterday. Picked up a book on quantum physics annnnd a carefully curated collection of smut 😂 To say this is always who I’ve been would be an understatement.

As an undergrad in college I studied physics with an emphasis in cosmology. I was naively but obsessively chasing a Grand Unified Theory. I distinctly recall countless hours reworking the equations of quantum mechanics in an attempt to fit Einstein’s theories. (You can’t combine quantum mechanics and relatively even though they are independently verified.) Meanwhile my freshman dorm room walls were plastered with handmade erotic art collages. i.e. I cut up a bunch of p*rn mags and reconfigured them to my liking as wallpaper. Bless my dorm mate for barelyyyyyy tolerating me 💀

I was also openly bi/poly and my two most significant relationships were throuples before the word “throuple” was even a thing. On my birthday weekend my 2nd year in college I partied with my primary partners (we were living together) then dipped out for a threesome with my side pieces. (This is the low key version of the story 🤪)

I was also deeeeep in psychedelics at the time. Rick Doblin was a New College alumn and we used to party at the original MAPS house, among many other wild parties. One night I ate way too many 🍄 and had a full blown telepathic conversation with my then bestie (who ate them too). We were talking to each other throughout the night, despite not being in constant proximity. At one point I was inside and he was outside and we were both like wtf is happening rn?!?

At the end of my 2nd year I took a leave to visit Cali for a while and wound up linking with a p*rn producer who lived in the Burbank Hills and threw coke fueled parties every weekend. He would pay me to hang on set with him while he worked 🤣 We dated until I moved back to FL to finish up school. But my 3rd year was roughhhhh bc I actually started to loose it a bit between all the psychedelics and the obsessing over the secrets of the cosmos. I eventually decided to detox and quit dr*gs all together… which was the best decision for me 💯 (I’ve been sober for nearly 20 years.) Cont…

My book is a pop science take on the mechanics of Human Design - drawing from Ra’s teachings and elucidating what we know to be true as well as what’s scientifically plausible.

I’m equally excited and terrified for this book to start weaving its way through the world… bc it’s an undeniably heretical stance on what is still largely relegated to the realm of pseudoscience… (but maybe not for long)
