Day Trippin | Lake Arrowhead"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align:center;\">Lake Arrowhead is my home away from home. \u00a0It&#8217;s a picturesque mountain town, nestled high in the San Bernardino Mountains, built around a crystal clear natural lake. \u00a0It&#8217;s only a 45 minute drive from my house but it feels a world away. \u00a0The geography is completely different, largely due to its 5100+ ft elevation. \u00a0There are no palm trees in Arrowhead &#8211; instead the landscape is speckled with pines, cedar, and dogwood&#8230;it doesn&#8217;t look like the California you incredible <a href=\"http:\/\/www.belgianwaffle.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Belgian Waffle House<\/a>, and bro loves his waffles. \u00a0Since we do a lot of walking through the village and around the lake, I tend to keep it casual for day trips to Arrowhead. \u00a0Even though it&#8217;s June, the weather was in the 60&#8217;s the day we drove up, so you can see I dressed accordingly. \u00a0In the winter they get a lot of snow, and it&#8217;s absolutely beautiful!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full absolutely perfect for my preggo belly! \u00a0It&#8217;s a longer tunic length with high side slits, which makes it comfy and versatile. \u00a0In addition to wearing it long, I can also tie it up in variety of ways (which I&#8217;ll demo in a future post). \u00a0Plus the material is super soft and it only cost $12!! \u00a0I love it so much I bought one in every color.<\/p>\n<p
